Enhance your 207 CC by ordering one of the three available optional leather interiors to suit your style; classic black leather, chic off-white leather or sophisticated tan leather. Black 'Payerne' woven fabric is standard fitment.

With a low, adjustable driving position (seat and steering wheel), and generously reclining front sports seats, the driver will delight in driving the 207 CC, all the more so when helped by the numerous driving aids. The 207 CC is a 2 + 2, with the 2 rear seats providing an element of versatility.

Technology

The dual-zone climate control air-conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to control their temperature settings separately. It is equipped with pollen, dust and odour filters. Best of all it has a sun sensor which anticipates the effect of strong sunlight and adjusts the air conditioning accordingly.

The cruise control function, fitted as standard on the 207 CC, is a handy feature not just for long freeway journeys, but to keep you safe around town. It incorporates a clever speed limiter function to prevent you from exceeding a preset speed limit. All functions are intuitively accessed from a steering column mounted stalk.

Whatever the weather, it's always a beautiful day when you drive the 207 CC. Storm clouds looming? Cocoon yourself in the civilised comfort of a hard top coupe, perfectly insulated against noise and traffic fumes. A break in the clouds and the traffic? Just press a button and 25 seconds later the roof has disappeared - leaving nothing between you and the sky.

The directional headlight function on the 207 CC Turbo model comes on in relation to the steering wheel angle. The headlights will effectively follow the path your car is traveling - providing superior vision around bends and intersections while driving at night. The headlights will also come on automatically when your 207 CC senses darkness, leaving you to concentrate on the road ahead.

Sometimes parking spaces in shopping malls can be tight, leaving your car susceptible to knocks from other cars. The door mirrors on the 207 CC Turbo automatically fold in when you lock your car, helping to avoid such knocks.

The trip computer helps you drive more economically by displaying instantaneous and average fuel consumption for your trip. It also lets you know how far you can travel until your tank is empty, as well as the distance you have traveled. Your 207 CC will also tell you the current outside air temperature.

The optional USB port with Bluetooth, located in the centre console, gives you full compatibility for most MP3 players, allowing you to listen to your favourite music. And thanks to the integral Bluetooth you can make and receive calls in complete safety.

Performance

Two engines are available to choose from, each possessing progressive technology such as variable valve timing and a variable inlet valve lift system. First up is the punchy 1.6 litre 88kW engine. Topping the range is its turbo charged brother, delivering an impressive 110kW and an engaging drive to match.

From the optimised suspension, efficient braking and perfect stability ...everything is designed to guarantee you optimal road holding, even in difficult conditions. The speed sensitive electric power steering offers the ideal compromise between extreme driving precision on the road and exceptional manoeuvrability for city driving and parking.

Three advanced transmissions are available, depending on engine choice. The 5 speed (non-turbo) and 6 speed (turbo) manual gearboxes are renowned for their sharp, precise gear changes. The Tiptronic automatic is smooth and responsive, available exclusively with the non turbo engine.

Environment

Peugeot is committed to developing technologies to reduce both fuel consumption and emissions. In the 207 range we've moved to smaller, more efficient engines. Our 1.6 manual has a combined fuel consumption of 6.5 l/100km. That gets you over 750km from its 50 litre tank. Its CO2 emissions are a respectable 150 g/km.

Advanced technology such as variable valve timing and a variable inlet valve lift system ensure a refined and satisfying drive, while simultaneously minimising fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

Worried about landfil? So are we. That's why at least 90% of every new Peugeot is now recyclable, including the metals, glass, fluids, plastic materials and rubber. And we're well on the way to creating the fully recyclable car.

Our commitment to the environment extends beyond our cars. In 1998, we set up a major ecological sponsorship by helping to create a 'carbon sink' (an area of plant life specifically set aside and developed to absorb atmospheric CO2) in the Amazon. Over 2 million trees representing 50 different species have been planted, which will allow scientists to study the relationship between reforestation, absorption of CO2 and climate control. Operation Carbon reflects the determination to fight as directly and effectively as possible against the increasing greenhouse effect.

Continuing Peugeot’s commitment to the minimisation of the environmental impact its of motor vehicles and significantly reducing fuel consumption, CO2 and other emissions, the entire 207 range already complies with the stringent Euro 5 emission standard - more than a year in advance of its required European introduction. In fact in July 2010 the Australian Government implemented the Euro 4 emission standard for new vehicles. Peugeot has had Euro 4 compliant engines across its passenger range in Australia since 2003.

Safety

The sophisticated, new-generation ABS with EBFD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution) and EBA (Emergency Brake Assist) is standard across the range. EBFD controls braking wheel by wheel for greater efficiency, particularly when braking in corners. EBA automatically applies more braking force in the event of sudden braking to increase the efficiency of your braking. The hazard lights are also automatically illuminated in the event of heavy braking. It's easy to see that when it comes to safety, the 207 CC has real stopping power.

The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) continuously monitors the 207 CC's vital information using sophisticated sensors. If it detects any movement in the chassis (understeer or oversteer) which might cause you to lose control of the vehicle it automatically corrects the stability by using a combination of braking and engine management. It can also limit wheel slip in the event of a loss of traction.

The most important element of the Peugeot 207 CC is you and your passengers, which is why the vehicle surrounds you with a protective cocoon in the event of an accident with 4 airbags as standard. The four 3-point seatbelts are each equipped with a load limiter and the front seat belts are pre-tensioning. The 207 CC thinks of everything and everyone.

Whether open or closed, the 207 CC gives a sturdy performance in terms of rigidity due to structural reinforcement and specific engineering. This structure favours performance on the road and has exceptional vibration control.
